The Media Eye announces PHD founder Nick Horswell as Chairman

As part of the company’s recent restructure, having successfully raised expansion capital, entertainment and fashion resource The Media Eye is excited to announce Nick Horswell as Chairman.

A media industry expert, Nick Horswell spent over 15 years working for a number of full-service ad agencies and in 1990, Nick set up his own media agency, PHD. By 2000 PHD had become a group of eight companies, employing 240 people, turning over nearly £400m a year, with very healthy profits and margins. It has since become one of the leading global media networks, with 70 offices in 60 markets. In 2002 Nick moved his focus to his private investments and is now supporting the growth of The Media Eye as Chairman, coming on board to lend his expertise and steer the company’s expansion drive for 2013 and beyond. Nick says of the appointment ‘It’s been an exciting first year at The Media Eye, and I’m hugely impressed by the commitment and expertise of the team. The company’s ever-expanding client base reads like a Who’s Who of the industry and I’m looking forward to playing a key part in helping to realise the team’s vision for 2013’.
